As a way of thanking our volunteers, builders, funders and friends, a series of evening events was held during Opening Week (July 13-17). More than 450 people came through the Bank. Chef Kim Saunders (Windjammer Inn, Port Stanley) cooked up some tasty apps to go along with Champagne and Chocolate, Chef John Mairleitner (Tall Tales Cafe, Wallacetown) served up Ribs to go along with St. Thomas microbrewery Iron Spike's beer samples. A delectable Board's Banquet filled the Heritage Hall accompanied by the Festivo Strings Duo, Jane Eady (violin) and Ben Gitter (cello). Chef Ryan Watson (The Villa, Glencoe) prepared a delicious meal of lamb shanks, ratatouille and exquisite mashed potatoes. All remarkable!!!
